Ester Wells

Ester is a native New Yorker and began dancing at 2 years old. She trained with the American Ballet Theatre in New York, the Bolshoi Ballet in Russia, the Paris Opera in France and the Royal Ballet School Antwerp in Belgium and was a three-time finalist of the international Youth America Grand Prix. At 14, she decided to transition away from a professional ballet career and study journalism.

She has reported for local outlets in New York, Chicago, Washington, D.C. and Wisconsin, and nationally with ABC News and POLITICO. In 2021, she graduated from Northwestern University with a Bachelor's in Journalism and Political Science and a Master's in Video/Broadcast Journalism. She now works as a digital producer at POLITICO, and is studying at King's College London for her Master's in the Psychology and Neuroscience of Mental Health, with the aim of moving into health communication.

Ester also takes and teaches heels classes in New York.
