After deciding to trade in her pointe shoes for a bachelor's degree, Davia used her time Dancing under Russian Ballet Teachers, and studying at the Bolshoi Ballet in Moscow to achieve her degree and further her interest in International Relations. Davia graduaed from the University of South Carolina, where she earned her B.A. in Political Science with a double minor in Public Relations and Russian.
During her time on campus, Davia volunteered with Be The Match, was president of the Gamecock Pageant Club, and earned a Presidential Service Award. In 2018 Davia entered pageants as a way to continue dancing and pay for college. She was crowned the 82nd Miss South Carolina, earning a total of $50,000 in scholarships and won overall talent. During her year as Miss South Carolina, she promoted her platform Be The Match: Become the Cure throughout the state by lobbying for the Patient Access to Cellular Therapy (PACT) Act (H.R. 2498) and expanding her informative classroom series to schools, clubs, and various events.
In 2020 Davia joined SPEAK Strategic and was the Campaign Manager for Spencer Wetmore for House, a political campaign that made history by flipping a State Senate seat for the first time in 10 years. In 2021, Davia joined Former Congressman, Joe Cunningham to produce his political podcast, "Joint Resolution" and interviewed some of the biggest names in Politics. After the success of the podcast, Davia joined Cunningham as the Director of Scheduling for his Gubernatorial campaign. Since leaving politics, Davia is still an avid volunteer and advocate for women running for office. Now, she works as a Marketing Manager at The Design Group, a Digital Marketing Firm in Charleston, South Carolina.
